We do daily stand up meeting in the KiSSFLOW marketing team. We write a quite a few blogs these days and one perennial issue is what makes a good blog title. Of course we can Google it and there are a million search results on this topic. We resorted to get a visceral understanding that all of us in our marketing team can relate to.
We narrowed down to one simple ingredient. A ‘Great’ blog title is the one that evokes ’emotions’. Period.
As a marketeer you can come up with two kinds of titles that evoke emotions. One that invokes sober, feel good emotions and another that evokes violent, aggressive emotions. If you hit upon a title that evokes ‘violent’ emotions, go for it. That’s is the best!
